1. What the terms cover

These terms apply to membership of the association Nordic Doctors Abroad and to donations via the website and MobilePay.

2. Membership

• Membership costs DKK 250 a year including any fees.
• You can be an active member or a supporting member. Both pay the same fee and have the same rights under the articles of association.
• You must be at least 18. Age is checked when you join, using the date of birth MobilePay shares with us. If you are under 18, you cannot join.
• Membership is valid once the first fee has been paid.
• Members receive a newsletter once a quarter and have a vote at the annual general meeting.

3. Payment and automatic renewal

• The fee is paid via MobilePay recurring payments. When you join, you approve an agreement in the MobilePay app, and the first fee is charged immediately.
• Membership renews automatically each year on the same date, and the fee is charged via the MobilePay agreement. You are notified in MobilePay before each charge.
• If the fee changes, members are notified at least 30 days before the next charge. Changes are decided by the general meeting.
• If a payment fails, we contact the member. If the fee has not been paid within 30 days, the membership ends.

4. Cancelling membership

• You can leave at any time by stopping the agreement in the MobilePay app or by writing to info@nordicdoctorsabroad.dk.
• Cancellation takes effect from the next renewal. Fees for the current year are not refunded unless the right of withdrawal is used (section 5).

5. Right of withdrawal

• When you join, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you joined.
• You withdraw by writing to info@nordicdoctorsabroad.dk before the deadline, e.g. "I withdraw my membership of Nordic Doctors Abroad." No reason is required.
• The fee is refunded via MobilePay no later than 14 days after we receive your message.
• The right of withdrawal applies only to the first membership, not to annual renewals.

6. Donations

• Donations via MobilePay are voluntary gifts without anything in return and therefore cannot be withdrawn or refunded.
• If a donation was made by mistake, e.g. the wrong amount, contact us within 14 days and we will find a solution.
• The association holds a fundraising licence from the Danish Fundraising Board (Indsamlingsnævnet), case no. 26-700-11038, valid from 1 May 2026 to 30 April 2027. Funds raised are used for the association's purpose as described on the website, and accounts are submitted to the Fundraising Board.

7. Personal data

We process your information in accordance with data protection rules (GDPR). We only keep what is necessary to administer the membership: name, email, profession, date of birth and payment status. The information is deleted when the membership has ended and we are no longer required to keep it under the Danish Bookkeeping Act. You can always access, correct or delete your information by writing to info@nordicdoctorsabroad.dk.

8. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@nordicdoctorsabroad.dk. We reply within 14 days.

If we cannot find a solution together, you can complain to the Danish Board of Appeals (Nævnenes Hus), Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, www.naevneneshus.dk.
